Wavering between God's will and human love is the way Jan's sister Susie very beautifully phrased how this whole experience with John has been. On this warm a balmy spring morning, at 10:18 our beloved John Pisz very peacefully went home with the Lord. I want to thank all of you for so diligently standing in the gap and supporting this family as he very valiantly took this final ride home. His love for all of us we have to keep.
The memorial service and reception for John will be held on Saturday, April 24th at 1 pm until 4 pm. It will be held at
Christ Community Church

A reception will immediately follow the service in the Fellowship Hall of the church. If you play an instrument, bring it as there will be bluegrass jamming during the reception.

Food will be pot-luck so kindly bring a covered dish enough for you and those attending with you.
Our family prefers rather than sending flowers please make a donation to your local chapter of Gilda's Club on John's behalf. They do a tremendous job of supporting cancer patients and their families/caregivers.
